36 hours per day, 12 hours per night. Days may end early if a majority lynch is reached.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
A lynch will happen immediately if a supermajority vote is reached (e.g. 9/16)
At end of day, "No votes" count as "no one" votes, but will not count towards a mid-day supermajority vote of "no one". The player with the most votes at that end of day, (including "no one") will be lynched.
Days can be ended early without a lynch by a supermajority "no one" vote.
you two have a weird chainsawing thing going on that is bothering the everliving out of me.

ill vote stove because he seems very uselss if my vote is needed there, unless people want to help me vote perish.
i scumread her last game and was wrong but i think that there's a lot more here than just tonal which was my main issue last game, and it feels like a hashed exucse to not get into it yet but i promise you i will deliver in full force because that's just how i am lol
Last game she participated heavily d1 and was getting incredibly frustrated at people not taking the game as serious as she would of liked.
This game she's acted like one of the people she was complaining about last game. And then she has the audacity to claim she's played the same game she has in the past.
I mean I'm not scum and her reasons given above that were fairly decent, I thought, but
I've had similar opinions to hers in normal maf on other players outright stating things like, "I'm just voting because everyone else was" (although not that specifically; I can't recall what exactly was said in either of the games where I remember this happening), and I think they have led me astray at least once.
I read all the pastebins the other game and I think a lot of other people did, too. ^u^

My gut wants to vote Transcend but my heart is now saying no...

person whom i could be wrong the most in the scum category is probably sonrio but again part of me not wanting to post with all the people constantly not giving the thread a break and cluttering makes him stand out more in my mind in which he has yet to take any direction in the game nor have the same type of bravado i expect for him.
yeah no i disagree i completely, and i'll go over this a bit more in detail when i can.
expect a pastebin that nobody will read sometime tommorow.

unvote
i want to read this game more thoroughly but i very much doubt i'll have the time right now. i have skimmed a little bit but not enough to solidfy any thoughts. something i have on the brain is that i don't think gerry is a good lynch, and another being that i tentatively want to push perish but again am stuck in a scenario where i can't really and doubt i could get the influence.
FWIW, I don't actually scumread Perish anymore based on some shallow logic -- which I'm giving a pass because it's only D1. I just want to know why Claire is obvious scum, seeing as I currently have her "'"'"'marked'"'"'" as town.
What would you be doing to improve your reads at this point in time, in this game?
This wasn't a rhetorical question, BTW. Not having any reads isn't much better than having bad ones, is it?
Some people are more likely to be somewhat more careful picking their words as scum, are they not? It's not an absolute tell and it's not necessarily exactly what you should be looking for, I agree.

It's fine. I most likely just misinterpreted your actions VS thought process and gave you more (less?) credit than I should have.

I've got to hit the hay so I'm going to have to leave it at this since it seems to be the gen. consensus:
When I'm scum I usually try to pocket a few people really early. This game you didn't have any tells well into d1 so I pressured you and you started towntelling.
I'm well aware of the method I've just never seen it deployed successfully because well, chances are the people who put thought into their articulation does so as either alignment an vice versa.
Just read Transcend again and I may've given him too much credit; still not sure about that one. What do you mean by 'mixed signals'?
I mean I've thought he was scum at times and thought he was town at others. I called him out and started really turning on the heat way starting back on page 23 onward. I really felt like I had caught him out in a bad move and when I pushed him more he reacted bad. But then after taking a few steps back I saw some towny posts from him and, like I explained at the time, I ended up giving him a pass since he's bad enough to make the move he made which I called him out originally for as town.
Even so his reads make little to no sense, he's being largely anti-town/uncooperative, and as d1 lynches go I think he's a good one.
Because I can be buddied, because I'm bad at this game.
Besides that, I did out several reads that had at least some amount of logic behind them. The problem with online mafia, in my experience, is that logic can go either way. Some players will deliberately play against expectations as mafia, and other players will just play badly as town a la "Over here, guys!". What would you be doing to improve your reads at this point in time, in this game?
