do you realize there is a better solution: refunding one of his losses later on
why are you stalling the round unnecessarily
the mods do a lot of stupid sh*t but this isn't one of those. a round pause isn't a big deal if it's to make a round more fair. other people probably have more hearts than they would if the original pause never happened which'll crunch their time even if they don't decay hearts

it's actually the correct procedure. if people don't have 24 hours to play a set of hearts then the round should be paused for a day
granted if no one has to play hearts then there's no need. but you never know if someone off the leaderboard is trying to run still. and even if there's one person with one heart, the pause is good
