umm because if they refunded one of their losses, itd refund the whole game for everyone else, no?

yeah this has been done in the past though, there's typically at least one game that wasnt played with any other serious competitors

Isn't it gonna be funny if Oulu doesn't play that heart today

This is a joke. Oulu is a crybaby, she said she had to go to bed but the round was paused even later in the evening for her. She wouldn't have had the time to play her heart... So she is lying. She's just upset because she missed the opportunity to play this heart yesterday when she thought it was lost forever. Thus pausing the round for here is such a big joke. I'd add, once I also had a refunded golden heart when I went to bed which gave me a sixth heart before midnight, nobody paused the round for me to make me play this heart (obviously). Now we're missing an entire day for a single person who's lying, she had more than 24 hours to play her hearts. It was only paused because it was Oulu which is unfair. Did you think about other people? Maybe other runners won't be able to play tomorrow thus are going to miss a trophy because of Oulu. Think about it before modding to your friends.

And Eshbd isn't a cheater, he's meta abusing which is a bit different.
