>umm... ya its not like you just an arm either.. however im talking about in terms of epicmafia<
this is me bringing up something else in life that can happen that is drastic, because some people will argue losing a girlfriend is not that huge of a deal either.
the reason i said epicmafia gf, is because i am bringing it back to my argument that refunding a heart is kind of a big deal in terms of the site, and if you had a gf on the site, one could probably argue getting a win refunded is worse than losing a GIRLFRIEND there
edit: actually i just realized, me literally saying "however in terms of epicmafia" shouldve been a huge hint to you that i wasn't talking about the epicmafia godfather.
if you trolled me, well played. i could kinda buy you thinking i meant godfather though
it is kinda a big deal cuz it means u have to play more mafia games when u could be playing world of warcraft (i just saw an ad on this website where we could play for free up to lvl 20)
i just think that refunding a game is probably one of the most influential actions, so the less accounts that do it the better but yeah it couldve happened to an admin account instead of devante and it wouldve been the same thing.
however, this is my train of process. something happened so what now should we do to try to help prevent it the next time?
im not even saying that mods shouldnt be able to mod possible refunds, but that less people should be able to actually GIVE the refund. gives an admin or whoever they choose more visibility on refunds that are happening if they wanted to bother actually going through the games and validating them.
Well, possibly. I don't know exactly how this hack happened but more recent ones haven't been by older, avoidable means (hidden links). Depending on how it was done, only giving one mod refund keys might not make any difference.
i might've asked this before but is there any way for you to set your privileges for what mods have? is there anything wrong with having an admin only have the ability to refund games?
Yes. And it actually used to be that only one mod had access to refund keys.
i might've asked this before but is there any way for you to set your privileges for what mods have? is there anything wrong with having an admin only have the ability to refund games? theres 3 now
going further on that, i doubt the system allows you to set specific mods to have certain roles (for example, at times when there are less admins or in the current time if 3 admins magically had to all be away for an extended period of time they could set someone to be their proxy for refunding games)
i bet something like this has been brought up before though, so devante can add it to this little thread heh heh heh
also im going to use this opportunity to complain again; stop letting the mods abuse forum suspensions when they cant be revoked. thats absolutely stupid
