I think the overall sentiment in this thread is people wanting a rule change. That's probably part of the problem...but my biggest problem is mods going around the already strict rules and just turning the forums into moderator fun time

It's entirely the mods' fault, lucid isn't going to swoop in and go through weeks and even months of content just to wack the weeds in his no-tolerance garden.
Also the way lobby camping is modded to pander to whiney little b*tches

I will say that he was probably saying that in reference to racist slurs, but because HC had become all encompassing at that point with albelist, sexist, etc. slurs, it's been modded that way ever since.

Lucid was asked about how the mods should handle HC by I think Slow when I first got modded, and he said something along the lines of just ban them. That's where that misinformation is coming from.
you thought that even though i spent 6 months saying how stupid the rule was, spend 4 months as a mod saying how stupid the rule was and still no change that reporting a mod--irritant would change the rule?
