the japanese version of the show is still running and they just had a kid get Total Victory last year. i'll try to look up the run because it's incredible

AW YEAH I haven't seen it in so long but I used to get hella baked and stay up super late watching that show. Good times
i prefer how in japan they dont guarantee entry to the finals to the top whatever performers from each event, they only give it to people who go all they way, absolutely no mercy

LOL That's exactly it. I'm like NO ONE CAARRRREEESSSS. We've got one person that won last year's final and then one woman (le shock) that made it to the finals. I'm expecting both of them to fail.
you spend like 7 minutes learning about how some guy spent 8 months training for ninja warrior in honor of his dead kid and then after you get back from commercial he loses in 40 seconds
