I am in the mood of giving and want to have a Santa themed Round 374 since it falls on the week of presents and all things amazing.

The setup must be deemed balanced after 50-100 plays. Historically, it would be 200 plays, but we don't have the time.
1 entry per account, NO ALTS
A moderator or admin can deem your setup unplayable for comp and not let it be tested. It is what it is, fam.
Depending on when the current round ends, moderator staff will remove setups that have not been played or are testing poorly.
You have permission to post links to ranked setups in the current Round thread so long as it is not spamming.
You can ask any moderator to make your setup ranked so the testing may begin.
Please post your links to your setups IN THIS THREAD with a blurb about why you think it is balanced and fit for comp. If you do not post it in this thread, it will not be recognized as a valid entry.

DOs

MUST include Santa and have 7-10 players
MUST include a Strategy for town and mafia with your setup
Play your setup unranked before you contact a moderator to have it ranked.
Promote your setup as you wish in order to get the plays in to test the setup. I encourage posting to the Main Lobby wall or contacting a moderator to have it promoted as a Featured Setup.

DON'Ts

Include any 3rd party roles
Utilize roles or role combinations that can be deemed gamebreaking
Waste our time and post setups that you know are not balanced

Prizes

1st: Santa setup will be comped, 20 tokens, custom Main Lobby emote
2nd: 10 tokens, custom Main Lobby emote
3rd: A sticker of your choice

Okay so don't dismiss this as a troll entry. I believe it has the potential to be a fun and playable setup.

This is a variation of the popular unranked game "Guns Vests and Fakes". That setup is extremely popular and fun to play, its only major downfall being its extremely town sided nature when played optimally. I have reduced the number of oracles by 1 in an effort to bring the setup within an acceptable ratio of town/mafia wins.

I attempted to comp this setup once before and it was only taken down because "Santa has too many powers for comp". Essentially this setup is perfect for this Christmas event.

This setup should be chosen for its fun factor. From the popularity of its predecessor we can see that it will not simply become another underplayed comp setup. This setup encompasses the spirit of Christmas and caters for all members of the community. Despite the light-hearted nature of the setup, the competitive and strategic nature of "comp" will not be lost.

I will post some strategies up if there is some interest in this setup :).

This is the more maf-sided version of the setup. I began with Gramps and thought it was a cool combination with Lookout but the downside to it is that it doesn't have a mafia meeting so that's a tiny issue if Lookout dies.

This one has Nilla which is not affected if Lookout dies BUT I got more scenarios where mafia wins in this setup than the former and some parts where town would've won in are now 50-50 based lynches to decide the game. That's obviously fine but it looks kinda harder on town this way to get a win out of it and I don't want people to think I made an all out mafsided setup.

If you're counting my first suggestion only I'm not sure what to do with this... Well tbh I'd prefer playing this one and it might be more suitable for the competitive state because more players like high town point payout to support their trophy runs.

I'm not gonna try too many ideas involving Santa, this was the first thing I thought of when I wanted to participate in this and here it is. Don't be fooled, I studied the setup for more than 3 hours imagining the possible scenarios until, it was time.

Santa is obviously an overpowered role as it is a better Dreamer and a Gunsmith/Blacksmith/Enchantress put together. I assumed most people would overcommit in buffing their mafia teams, absolutely outshining Santa and making it useless.

When you want to make a legitimate Santa setup first thing you think of is Hooker. But that completely shuts down Santa which isn't what a good setup is about. When I say this is the first thing that came to my mind I meant after analyzing the virtues of Santa and how to counter it. I spent a while looking in the roles tab for a good combination of roles to go out in a game where the real star is Santa.

Ended up with a unique setup that I myself very much like even before testing. It's not perfectly balanced, but that's the best I could do with Santa. However, most scenarios I ended up with are 50-50 so that's a good sign.

i was thinking of an A&D variant as well

i was thinking orc/santa/caroler vs hooker/fab/enforcer
with 2 blues/1 sw and day start, of course.

caroler because santa himself can get a report as well which would make it dangerously townsided. orc can claim d1 for the vest/carol. sw there to mess with santa/cant be caroled and somebody not outting a carol doesnt mean they are auto maf

3 visiting maf give maf a 3/5 chance to block santa from getting a report

as i was writing this, it actually sounds scum sided and maybe i need a stronger town pr that doesn't "visit" like a watcher or something
