i think my only beef with the film is the pacing. you just never have time to absorb what has happened, and i get that it is sort of intentional, but you have to wonder if this doesn't shortchange the glorious work that the story has in it. not just the visual details, but the sound, the music, and the character development.

everything feels just a little too fast. i think it could have used another 10m or so of runtime to pace things out a little better.
that being said, probably my fav movie of the franchise. v excited to see what happens to my favorite emo boy, shylo ren
fun fact there was an ewok head and a gungan head on maz kanata's trophy wall in the original concept art of the film but those were taken out because they were a bit on the nose.
I was very disappointed when I found out that Warwick Davis was playing some random alien in the background. I really wanted Wicket the Ewok to return. Aside from that - the movie was perfection. Rey is freaking amazing. <3
