sorry for website, I just googled "clinton scandal list"
I kind of like clinton though, she's pragmatic and I think would add a backbone to the whitehouse. I don't think she actually believes in any of the issues she's running on though, just saying what she thinks gives her the best chance of winning. But if you're electing the person, not the alignment, that's fair. And part of me does think that her long scandal list is a byproduct of her longevity, (but also equal parts her power-hungryness/greediness) but then again...being a career politican isn't exactly a profession that rewards ethical people as much as business. (I resent that by the way, maybe if you said real estate business I would agree)
@germatron i don't know all his political policies, but i will say this about electing a political leader: anyone can read up on the pros and cons of modern policies regarding economics, foreign relations, health insurance, etc, but if political ideology was the only criteria for who should be president, what's stopping us from electing any intelligent, well-read, highly respected professor of government/politics?
you say that most people's qualms with trump are not regarding his policies. that may be the case -- he was leading in polls after all, maybe still is? -- and that is because there are many other criteria for a good presidential candidate. i won't claim to know everything about trump, but what comes to mind is his temperamental, condescending personality; his past as a businessman, a profession that punishes good ethics and morality; his little experience in politics at all. you may find that these are not reasons to condemn his legitimacy, and you are entitled to that opinion. others feel that tolerance, a calm temperament, and a history of service and successful leadership in politics are qualities a president should have.
anyway hillary clinton is probably gonna win so this is moot \O/
