anyone wanna tell me why flex has seemingly played 10 comp games but only 9 appear? anyone wanna tell me why her most recent loss appears as "Cannot find game..." anyone wanna tell me why this low user ID alt https://epicmafia.com/user/1211#/ pops out of nowhere (over 58 months) to play a few comp games with flex?

who remembers our buddy Omar Little https://epicmafia.com/user/18723#/ who came out of a 63 month hiatus to throw a few games for none other than our friend fix, who i'm pretty sure is flex. notice the similarities? low user ID account pops up out of nowhere and plays a few games with the suspect. then, they disappear. poof. i distinctly remember accusing fix of cheating with this person and a few other accounts. strangely enough, that thread was deleted. weird.

none of this crap is new or revolutionary. ABC and vilden have been driving this stuff down the mods' throats for the past few weeks and sims refused to take action. i'm hoping jeff and togepi will take this a bit more seriously, because you're successfully letting poser/prevail/arcbell make a complete mockery of competitive mafia. they're able to delete games, force sui [https://epicmafia.com/report/158129] and cheat at will. why aren't the mods taking action?

I'm not sure if you're just that gullible or you have higher expectations of your skill-comparable friends, but lol.

The fact that any of you are willing to defend stacked lobbies is kind of a joke, but saying that it makes the game harder? Well, I guess it's not surprising, since playing this game with a serious attitude tends to make you develop at least some egomania. Let's put it this way: sure, it's harder. The game takes longer, oh boo hoo. But you're just deluding yourself if you don't think people throw games for runners because they know/respect/idolize them.

Also, nice sly dig at my Vash account. Sounds a little jelly, though, since nobody remembers your name, but I'm pretty much a legend on the site.

I got publicly declared non-nerd for not knowing Star trek so hah.

And I guess if you're talking about pretentious tryhard who games then I fit the bill, but if your reference for nerd is social gamer with publicly declared affinity for over-rated anime characters, then I'm not on that shortlist. Cheers.

@Orly I did a data collection a while back. Games I, Anthony and Soda played with friends each had at least a 5% disadvantage to the other games. I only did this over 2 rounds though, so that might be a potentially confounding variable.

That being said, the notion that friends make the game harder for you actually makes sense, since it's harder to obfuscate your play if they have an extra axis to read you on. Therefore familiarity will make it easier to read you which gives you a disadvantage. Additionally, a lot of the friend cults are experienced players, so a random in your game is liable to make the game easier than your friend who is more likely to fight you if he figures out your alignments differ.

games seem much harder in stacked tables with friends. in games like this i notice players put way more thought into their lynches [because there's more pressure to be correct], so the votes keep swaying back and forth
