Lobby Camping

Don't stalk people around games when you don't have to. User is allowed to report you if you continually join their games despite asking you to leave. Expires in 6 months Warning Lobby Ban

Previous rule-

if you stalk or follow a person then it is lobby camping--

It means that if you join a game with me, then I ask you to leave and you do not leave, and i don't wanna play with you, then I will leave and remake.

Then if you join the new game that i made, you will get the lobby camping vio.

New rule-- as said by mods to me.

---If you join a game and the person tells you to leave and you do not leave then you get the lobby camping vio.

MODS please confirm the new rule. Because sending pms to me is not confirmation. Later you will deny it and change the rules and apply it differently for your friend. You will say that it was another mod.

So please confirm this rule. If this is the rule then I will follow it and same should be followed for everybody.

If the old rule stays then i will follow the old rule. But please confirm which is true.

can i request a list of Pranay alts so i don't break any rules; so far i have Hugo, Mandevian

not sure what you're accusing me of "starting" when i simply followed Moderator's orders to avoid you, therefore i asked you to leave games where i was there first =)

Like, MikeyRu fully well knows I hate playing games with him, but continually joins games I make. Often, there aren't enough open games for me to even be able to dodge him, either.


thanks for confirming the rule that i knew of. But its moot. We follow the new rule now. If you ask someone to leave once, he leaves. else the person gets vio.

The lobby camping rule currently uses the word "continually". It is also evident that it is enforced when the intent is to follow someone.This is why i was assuming the previous rule. My intent was just to play a game with others on the table. I have no issues with him. I did not once abuse him or say anything to him. It was him and him alone who started this.

ok sims, i will follow this rule from now and will not join any of his games. if he is there in a game before me then i will leave.

i just wanna say that i have no problems following any rule. But it should be mentioned and followed for everybody

you can close the report i filed. i filed it because i was following the previous rule. i did not know that you had a different interpretation. I can find 100 precedents for the rule that we used earlier.

Please make sure you apply this rule to everybody, and not just me.

That has not always been the rule. The rules were different earlier. The user has to remake the game.

All players are allowed to join any open game in lobby. but if a person is joning a game to follow a specific person then it is lobby camping. Then also the person has to remake. if the person re follows then it is lobby camping.

A MOD was not allowed to tell a person to not join games.

Especially when the person did not do anything and was on the receiving side.

it doesn't matter if they left to remake or not, you shouldn't be allowed to kick someone out of a game because of a technicality. if that means there's a change in the rules then ok

So yes, if you are told to stay away from a user and you join a game AFTER THEM, you must leave. The problem is not joining the game, the problem lies in STAYING in that game to talk to them. Even if you tend to avoid them in the game, that's not allowed seeing as this is a game that requires interaction. Therefore, if you are told to avoid someone and you join a game and they are there, leave. That's always been the rule mate. Thanks. If you stay and harass them, we assume you are camping them/harassing them.
