Well yeah, I gathered that something like this had happened although from what you say it seems like it happened to a greater extent than I was aware. But I guess it's cool that "pretty scathing" is an adequate excuse for covering up the truth about whether or not a person is alive in order to avoid embarrassment.


Just to be clear, I'm not defending their decision to keep it hushed. I, like you, felt that everyone had the right to know the truth. Apparently the mods and A Few Good Men decided that the community at large couldn't handle the truth.

the mods were... strongly encouraging people to keep quiet about it when someone, i think sirius, made a very vague thread that seemed to imply josh was still alive.

Well I personally found out about it about five weeks ago. The point, which I hope I've already properly stressed, is that the community has remained frozen in an embarrassed hush about it. Are you still mad at me for advising against spending hundreds of dollars on a gaming computer when you've barely gotten back on your feet?
