All I did was tell you what happened and gave you their reasoning for doing what they did. At no point did I defend it or imply that I thought it was a good idea.

Actually no one ever threatened to dox him. I made an unspecific, personal threat to him that only I and two other non-moderators knew about after he posted an underaged girl's skype address on some kind of internet hookup site or something.

Yep. I stood up for someone who was being attacked and being threatened to have her life ruined by a self-proclaimed psychopath and wound up dating her a few weeks later. The events aren't related though and probably didn't need mentioned in the same post.


They need to be mentioned in the same post because you called her underage in order to further vilify GaryOak when the fact of the matter is that (a) the fine details of her age are immaterial to you or (b) you happily hold a double standard about it.


Well one happened when said person was a legal adult, and one didn't. I think the legal technicality provides a pretty substantial difference, but that's probably just me trying to justify a weird situation.

On second thought, Steve, that was the worst possible post you could have made in response to me, like that was a gross strategic misstep, and I'm less interested in that than in your side of the story, which you should PM me, since historically I've opined that you're a sane, stable, moral person.
