leaving the site has given me a bit of interesting perspective, so let's do this.

"jesus christ" is the song you listen to when you feel lonely and miss soemone and want to cry and i'm crying right now..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
to be fair i didn't really care AS MUCH about that album the first time i listened to it but multiple listens stuff really stuck with me. like that album for the most part is pretty consistent and the only songs i would ignore are the instrumental one and the archers bows have broken (it's OK but really feels weird int he latter half of the album imo)
brand new? articulate why you think i should listen to them because i didn't really find them that stand-out the one time i listened to The God and The Devil Are Raging Inside Me
oh, i mean maybe then, i only remember that i finished kid a in december and shortly attempted to get the rest done by the next month or two, i think in rainbows was jan
backdrifts and the gloaming are pretty great tracks idk about putting anything extra on in rainbows to be honest that album has perfect flow and i can't imagine another song on it
you listened to it? last i spoke to you you hadn't. what are your thoughts?

it's not a bad song and i like it but i also do not get any sort of inspiration from it. amnesiac's fine musically for the most part it just bores me the most out of any of their albums. even pablo honey (not that it's better) evokes more of a reaction out of me than most of amnesiac does.

HTTT would be maybe my favorite if you got rid of
- Backdrifts (put it on In Rainbows where it belongs) - Go to Sleep (put it in the furnace) - The Gloaming (put it as a B side) - I Will (I know it's meant to be a breather track after There, There, but it feels unnecessary to me and i like the album more if it's not there)
the rest of the songs are pretty good and i'm the type of guy that prefers quality over quantity when it comes to albums
my problem with amnesiac is that even their good songs are kind of unremarkable to me i.e. "you and whose army" and "dollars and cents". and i don't care about "knives out" and i don't care that it took 2300 days to make it kind of bores me musically.
like i don't dislike amnesiac but it's like a 6-7 for me, meanwhile HTTT is easily a 8-9
its not a bad album at all but it feels like the least of all remarkable radiohead albums
i feel that way about amnesiac #dunked
amnesiac's their bleakest lyrically and musically, imo, even when it's just a bunch of kid a outtakes i just like it the most. its radiohead doing what they do best.
