i actually have a list of bands/artists to listen to on my phone's notepad

my last.fm recommendations page includes the furthest corners of indie rock and i really won't listen to them any time at all

i can't really say why i hate britpop as a genre besides the fact that its name is britpop and that's such a contemptible compound word

i will eventually i just explore music at my own leisure and the national's aesthetic of tired white boy grunting about a woman seems to already wear me out. and grizzly bear is probably fine too i just have a weird avoidance thing about both of them

that and front bottoms and some other britpop band that keeps getting recommended to me. *wipes sweat with radiohead towel* god i hate britpop

i agree unless you want to find a reason to like alt-j, in which case i'd recommend aaw first. i maintain that tiay is a pretty OK album and suffered internet backlash so most people gave it terrible reviews, but it's really a snazzy 6-7. it just has no single power since left hand free blows
