i've always been more for endurance than speed. when iran a marathon i did itat a a ~9:30 mile pace. if i was sprinting I'd probably say i coulda done like 8 minutes? definitely not fast but meh.
though nowadys i'm like completely outta shape so i'd probably be lucky to be able to run at 9:30 minute mile... working on getting back into shape thoughh
ok sorry to drop all that that's not at all what you asked for though you asked for things i like about you. we don't know each other that well but on some level i know you're forgiving so obviously i appreciate that. but i also admire your conviction and passion. whereas i'm someone who sort of self-monitors and adapts my own projected personality to what's around me, you've always seemed to me as someone not only unabashed about your true interests and feelings but also really expressive of them. which i guess probably makes you enemies as well as friends, but being true and making your thoughts known is something i've always found lacking myself so i can't help but revere it in you.
i really dig your apparent loyalty to your those lucky enough for you to cosider them friends. and beyond that it's sort of inference since I haven't really had much of a chance to get to know you one-on-one but i like how you simultaneously maintain a sort of bubbly, giddy personality while giving off an aura characterized by both confidence and competency. idk. that made a lot more sense in my head and it might just be me being drunk and unable to express myself totally coherently but that's just how i perceive you.

i skimmed throuhh the people hwo posted in this thread and for w/e reason i decided i wanted to opinion you even tho we're not really close at all.
as i recall our first interactions were..... not exactly positive ones. and i'm was (and probably am) always way too proud an idiot to swallow my pride and admit it but i basically regretted picking that fight with you way back when fro mthe get-go. i always really really wanted to apologize but basically im a loser and wasn't able to.
i'll be honest i'm sort of...... unclear (?) how to we came to be on amicable terms. it kind of just happened? like, i guess at some point you just started talking to me normally as if we had let bygones be bygones which i was honestly happy about bc i did always sort of want to be your friend but at the same time i was kind of disappointed in ymself bc i don't think i ever really apologized to you so uh...
yo. i know it was like, half a year ago now or whatever but i'm really really sorry about how goddamn vile i was towards you when i was Kaustic. i was just a generally angry person at that time in my life but there's no legitimate excuse whatsoever for the way i acted. i guess it's sort of in the past now but if there's ever anything further i could ever to do to make it up to you i'd be grateful for the opportunity.

you're caring though pragmatic. you're helpful but don't considere yourself infalliable.it coudl just be my own thing but from my own perspective i feel like you're not the most approachable person tbh. befor getting to know you i wasn't quite sure what to think of you. i really hope you don't take too much offense to this but my first impression of you was that on one hand you seemed vaguely elitist but on the other you were sort of.... pitiful. : \\\ idk. i think you get caught up in your own plight sometimes which is definitely something i'm guiltyas well. all in all thoguh i think you're a really neat, likable, and overall good person.

if there's any silver linging to me taking frickin forever to write these opinions isn' tthat i'm gfiving my opinion on you now rather than 20 days ago 9hoyl lol) when you posted this because had i given it back then it woulda been ver y different not that it would be bad but obviously we've gotten to know each other a lot over the last few weeks and i've come to really appreciate you as a close friend.
what is there to say about retti? it's been really interesting gettign t oknow you recently because at first i kept realizing things that were similar about us but lately as i learn more and more about you i'm finding more differences? a good portion of our conversations revolve around/relate to our perceptions of ourselves so i'll try to avoid repeating things that we've said in the past. i think you're one of the more admirable yet tragic characters on epicmafia. i think more than antything else awhat stands out to me about you is your integrity. regardless of consequences to people's perception of you, i see you as constantly in line with yourw own values and i have a lot of respect for that . it's one of the things i think is not similar about us but i wish i could emulate you mroe on.
i really love the way you find this really endearign balance between passion and composure. as you noted me saying in the past fro mthe outside you appear somewhat stoic but i was really delighted to find upon gettign to know you that stoicism isn't indicitve of apathy. you have interests both interpersonal and material and while you're a respectfully private person you're not overly gurarded in my opinion. to use a stupid gay metaphor i think i personally build up a lot of walls around myself but while you may do the same thing, you've also got a rad af gate.
Uh, you might not know me too well, but I still wanna hear your opinion of me =)

i think you're way way way more intelligent than meets the eye. you're humble to the point of self-doubt but honestly you're hypercompetent and anyone who says otherwise is straight up wrong. you were a stellar admin and it really is a shame that your term was so short. you're too damn good for a place as ungrateful and barren as this. you constantly worked hard, you were pretty much always on top of anything, and most importantly imo you were really communicative with the entire team.
i'm not totally sure what else to say i'm scared im going to start rambling but i feel like there's more. you're down to earth & approachable, you somehow balance being generally kind with a unique flavor of bluntness i've come to appreciate. we're not the closest so some of this is sort of inference but i sort of think your largest flaws/setback probably relate more to personal insecurity than how you interact with others. it's just something i've gotten hints of from you but you seem to hold yourself to a really really high standard which results in you producing really excellent results but i wouldn't doubt it if you don't meet your own personal expectations. hope that wasn't too far-fetched if it was just ignore me i am alcohol.
oh and one other thing i dunno if i've told you this but i adore your taste in music and visit your profiles way too often to listen your autoplays.

i remember one time you said in a thread, i think it was that modleaks thread we made when we alt stepped down as mods, that you saw a lot of yourself in me. and i know you probabl didn't mean to bu when you said that you honestly gave me what felt like one of the nicest compliments i have ever received because i honestly think you're one of the best people on this site if not one of the best people i have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my entire life. seriously i have like a ridiculous level of respect for you.
