Don't close a thread because you don't agree with someone's opinion. I was talking about the SCOTUS decision and that is what the thread was about. My discussion was germane to the thread.

That is a straw man argument and besides the point.
My thoughts on that particular thread were germane to that discussion since the topic of that thread was about that SCOTUS decision. If I am not allowed to post there because I opinion differs then therefore you are saying I cannot post because you disagree with what I am saying. That is discriminatory against some users on this site. It should not matter if I agree or disagree on a topic. I was being polite and stating my opinion on the topic of discussion for that thread.
Why didn't you take the opportunity to make this the thread then? Instead of bashing the mods...

Yeah, make your own thread to debate Gay Marriage, rather than debating it in the Gay Marriage thread. That thread was intended only as an echo chamber. I can guarantee that nobody will want to post in your thread because we're busy waiting for old conservative men to set themselves on fire. FTW.

You closed a thread and told me to start a new topic EVEN THOUGH I was being completely germane to the discussion. THAT is what I said. Let us have our free speech to discuss on the threads without the mods trying to police who can say what on a topic.
