This is not a complaint, I am rather enjoying this, and have no reason to ask that it stop.
Here is a list of really amusing reports:
https://epicmafia.com/report/140442 - Nillager no-vios because GRS isn't moderated in unranked.... except the game is ranked. Mist explains the situation, and yet the appeal sits in open reports for 6 hours. Giga and Jaleb vote to overturn, but apperantly need more confirmation before overturning the obvious GRS. Report remains open after Jaleb finally changes the verdict.
Chris did what every admin did, he modded his friends.

Chris did what every admin did, he modded his friends.
Chris was put into the position with 3 mods. They needed mods really bad. In the spur of the moment I think he did well. He hired a bunch of mods, and then a bunch of old ones to show everyone what they need to get done and how. If you suddenly come from Sandbox with no knowledge about main's players or how to correctly judge a competitive game, you're not going to mod a bunch of main lobby players and hope they know what they're doing. He started off with hiring his friends, and then he's using some old players, who know what they're doing, to show the new ones what to do.
The question is why is Chris someone who has barely interacted with the main lobby taking a leap into administrating the site in the first place. If he wants to "improve" the place he should first get to know the lobby, get to know who are potential competent site mods and play enough competitive games to feel the atmosphere of it. I like Chris too, he's a nice guy but I'm just saying he was hungry for power and just jumped into becoming an admin.
I wish I could give you a good answer, but sadly lucid hasn't been performing up to par and that's about all I can say.

Yeah, but then it's on the accused to appeal it and get it overturned.
Spoken like a true American. We don't have to do things correctly, it's on everyone else.
I didn't mean it in that way. I'm saying if the accused thinks it's wrong, they should appeal it. If they don't check the verdict themselves then they probably didn't care that much about it. Of course, first things first, the mods should be able to do the reports correctly, but modding is also a "team-like" effort between the players and the mods.
most of the reports that are wrong are in fancy pants games, most people who play fancy pants games are novice players who don't even know how to appeal violations or that several violations can lead to them getting banned
Fair point. Again, they should be overturned. Are there any users playing vigilante and looking out for incorrectly done reports?
Still, I'm sure everyone is doing the best they can at this point, and at the very least.

Even if the reports are bad, surely they will be overturned by some of the more experienced mods
i.g. Uck, slow, sims
Not all reports that are handled incorrect get appealed, some go unnoticed you know.

Honestly, Chris probably just put in some people that he could trust since he came over from Sandbox and had no affiliations with the main lobby. Of course he isn't going to mod a bunch of people he doesn't know. So far it seems they're all handling this better than I thought they would

People who are awful at E/m modding shouldn't be modded just because it's temporary. It means that a bunch of reports get handled wrong for this "temporary" time.
