blacklist it and maybe good players like soben and me wont pretend that they never knew this site was a thing.

Average fancy pants game lasts < 10 minutes, I literally got that number from the last 10 games on your profile and my own personal experiences.
Day 1 is speed nl, day two only a lick of scum hunting is involved but it's more than not u guys pushing on fake slips, or hoping the mafia confirm themselves by having 3 ccs.
This setup is bad because it sucks. Also I've played a few games with u this round so I applaud you for attempting to play comp but I could see the fancy pants on u in games and it's disgusting
The only way for FP to not result in a clear in lylo is for mafia to kill both PRs. Otherwise you have 2 sets of cc's and a clear to pick between them.
However stupid people like yourself grind this setup 24/7 and it's averaging a 53% town win rate. That means it's extremely unbalanced against mafia. But hey that's what you vegetables consider competitive: easy town wins.
But then you guys play other setups and do poorly. Then cry about how mean comp players for not embracing your idiocy in "competitive mafia". The comp setups have lived through generations of competitive play on this site, the only thing new is the idiocy stemming from people that point farm.
The only viable form when you factor in the fact that the people filling those games and FP players looking for easy victories when all they do in game is ensure the other team's victory. But hey blame it on comp and not the actual problems plaguing this site: People like you.
You can literally not point farm competitive setups because by nature they aren't designed in a way that morons like yourself can just laze through them. You probably already realize this seeing as you exclusively play setups designed with fast and easy town victories in mind.
Once again..the samething as any setup. You try to find the mafia via communication.. "Scumhunt", but I mean just like most setups you will have one clear. Communication is key..Fancy Pants is a good setup. It may not be perfect, but is way past capable of being a legitimate ranked setup. Discussion Over...im tired of hearing Comp Players complain because Fancy Pants is more popular. Make better Comp Setups...or better yet!!! Play the ones the deserved to be played instead of the ones u make sure are in 90% of comp rounds. Usually 90% of games are played in 1 setup, and that setup is usually either Voltron or Jan 2. What type of competition is that???

Day 41: soda17 has continued in his silent negging crusade against me. i fear this time he may truly break my spirit. in any case, i will keep a stiff upper-lip and hold strong in the face of hardship.
i don't doubt that's the case to some extent anyway
rarely in a fancy pants game will you play a game where people just speed through votes to get to the next game. As with any setup.. Yall act like you cant go without a clear in fancy pants..HATERS!
Mist,..in that case you can farm any setup..Fancy Pants just gets blamed because its the most popular setup on the site.

yo it's called a farm because of the meta, not the payouts. the perception (and in some cases the truth of the matter) is that people are just selfvoting and letting clears roll the dice with their hammers so they can play quick games and burn through their hearts without much effort.
LOL at anyone who calls Fancy Pants a point farm,..they be like 'awh ppl like fun setups *flame flame*'. Your probably the same guy who only plays Voltron and Jan 2.0...don't you see the hypocrisy!?.

Yes they do. People like points, achievements, stats, etc. That's why it's called "farming." Also if they played it unranked they wouldn't be able to report which would certainly be a shame...
I laughed so hard at the thread title "cancer pants"
Pointfarm? Not necessarily, town only wins 53% of the time.
Applies any mafia skills? No. You could program a robot that plays the setup and they would do just as well as a regular fancy pants player.
I don't see why we don't blacklist it. After all, from what I've gathered in this thread, the casual FP players don't care about the points, so let them play it unranked.
New people join and leave because of fp. If we got rid of fp, more people will join still. What it will do would maybe keep them as they'll actually be playing a game of mafia.

blacklisting fancy pants would be like outlawing cigarettes. everyone knows they're awful and cancerous, but too many people use them. taking them away would off too many people.
Yea imagine a site devoted to the party game mafia. The people that came here played to win, learned from game to game, and got to know the people they played with in order to further their skills.
Sure everything you say about the site is true, however it only applies to this site in the sense that pointfarmers like yourself destroy any depth this site could have by not being skilled in anything, refusing to apply yourself or take games seriously, and only playing setups designed for fast town victories. When you compare pointfarming setups like FP/GH/MvSk to the actual party game of mafia what values do they share? None. You claim you have fun playing FP but the reality of the situation is you get to chat and on average you're rewarded for your participation. You don't like setups that require the skill you claim this site lacks because you're not rewarded for chatting and you have to develop skills in order to be successful. However it's good of you to state the core problem with this site in that vegetables like yourself will seek out free wins over attempting to develop as players.
Catering to vegables isn't beneficial and soon people will tire of being vegetables, tire of point farming, and then what will you have to show for nearly 3k games of vegetative point farm setup you call fun?
And before you try to claim you're not point farming, /v almost always has a game running in main and they rarely play for points. Most of you FP vegetables only venture to other point farm setups.

literally a vegetable. so is he a carrot or corn on the cob, i'm curious.
You're literally a vegetable. Do you realize this? I've played with you and seen you lose games for presenting reasonable arguments which means you're immune to the mental damage accumulated through point farming.
How do you even make this statement having played almost 3k games of this setup?
It's funny, b/c you're still a dumbass at the end of that.
Oh look, another "I have nothing to argue about because he's right so let's just insult him and show my manners".
Why would I rehash old arguments all over again? They can be easily found in so many recent threads that have been posted. New threads don't appear in a vacuum, they're part of a wider context. Go read that context before telling me that I have nothing to add you lazy, incompetent, braindead waste of space.
