A few brutal stabbings later, Mime is gone, but Chase's foot is in immense pain. He needs medical attention. He recalls passing a medical center on the way to the hotel. He opens the door, but upon seeing the pouring rain, takes the jacket off of Mime's body and puts it on. Probably needing to explain what happened, he takes the knife into his hand.
He stumbles all the way from the hotel to the medical center, up to the front desk. The woman at the desk looks up from her paperwork to gaze at the man in his orange coat. "Can I help yo-"
She stops at the end of her sentence. "What?" Mime asks, swinging the knife at the receptionist. "Do I look like a demon of some sort to you?"
Everyone in the lobby is staring at him menacingly. They all charge at him.
Different colors mean something else to different people, different cultures. When you're at Obaglia, make sure you remember what the color orange means.
The first rainy night at their hotel, the two of them had a few drinks of wine. Chance could have easily poisoned Mime's drink, but that would have been too easy. He knew a better way to do the deed. He wanted him to suffer. Suffer the way hes suffered through his crude, awful nature.
Mime opens the white refrigerator. "Oh man, I'm starving here," he tells Chance upon seeing it virtually empty. He pulls out an already peeled orange and takes a large chomp out of it.
"That was supposed to be my breakfast," Chance tells him.
Mime smiles and takes another bite out of the orange. "Not my fault you've got nothing for me to eat," he tells him, chucking the orange on the ground.
"You know, there's a bakery across town," Chance informs him.
"Oh but it's pouring out," Mime moans.
"Here." Chance takes his orange jacket off and tosses it to Mime, who shakes it out and puts it on. "W-wait." He walks over to the counter and takes the knife he brought with him. He paces over and with a sadistic smile on his face, extends the knife to him. "They'll want you to chop your own bread," he informs the crude man.
"What?" Mime scoffs. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. I ain't chopping my own bread. I'll tell you what I will chop."
He grabs the knife, swings it in his right hand and drops it directly on Chase's foot. Chase cries and swears, and just as Mime turns his back for the door, Chase pulls the knife out of his foot, and on one leg, chucks the knife towards Mime's head.
Colors all have different meanings behind them. Most people attribute the color pink to love, or women. The color blue may mean cold, or cool, or in the sense of light blue, it may represent the sky.
But what does the color orange represent? In the far off land of Obaglia, the color orange represents murder. 60 years ago the land was plagued by a shadowy killer known only as "The Orange Demon". He walked with a skulk in his steps, he spoke with a slimy, raspy voice, and the foul odor of his breath went along well with it. He wore a bright orange coat and a tall, brown hat. At night, he would go out and slash the villagers by the throat. They never caught him, and one night, the killings simply stopped. Stories in Obaglia said that one night, the Orange Demon would return and resume killing; that he was merely sleeping.
Unfortunately, Mime was unaware of this tale. He and his buddy, Chance were business partners. However, Chance did not like Mime. He found Mime to be cruel, nasty, and just plain wicked. If he asked Mime to take his shoes off in the house, he would rub the mud from a rainy day all over the wooden floor. If he asked Mime to wash the dishes, he would clean them with his own special lemonade. One day, Chance decided that he had enough; he was through with the vile antics of Mime.
He saw the perfect opportunity to finish Mime once and for all when the two went on a business trip to Obaglia. Chance packed an orange coat and a kitchen knife into his suitcase and boarded the plane to his destination.
