Mods please make it gamethrowing to demand the hammer and mishammer.
Things that can be gained from leading lynches:
Bad clears can no longer vote people for making them emotional/being uncooperative
Confirm your reads with town for more reads
A chance to stop a clear from mishammering
Bad clears can't strongarm bad lynches
Games become less dependent on rolling decent clears
Mafia get a chance to do something other than appeal to the clear
Most of all if you were playing mafia with your friends (assuming you understand what this means) you wouldn't focus solely on clears, so this site shouldn't either.

when a clear demands hammer only to lynch wrong. This should include but not being limited to spamming for selfs, asking for selfs, stating they have reads for selfs, demanding selfs, etc. etc.
Here's a point i just thought of. If you're encouraging the idea of not selfing for clear, would setups like minesweeper or gallis hunter still be banned? They actually play games if one person isnisn't demanding hammer
nope. not this. I suggested something entirely different. I just suggested fines instead of violations. People will then have motivation to not break a rule. If you have to pay a fine to get out of a ban/ vio then you will not do it. If you still do it then you pay and lucid earns. Lucid will not lose customers because of this.

Ok how about this, a epicmafia subscription service! To play ranked it's $5 a month otherwise it's only unrranked, to enter a competition is $5 entry fee per alt and finally for unlimited use of the forums other than bugs, complaints and welcome to epicmafia one time payment of $20, if you post irrelevant topics in these forums they are moved to a forum you can't see unless you pay.
There's a difference between what you're stating and players that spend their games as clears refusing to do anything but demand the hammer, only to throw the game away killing off someone every live townie would defend. This situation is what I'm after because it gamethrowing in the sense that you denied town a chance to show you that you'd need mafia in order to confirm your read.
I call the current meta vote simulation because that's all your vote is when you're playing to clears. We have a scumhunt achievement for a reason and this meta denies people the ability to safely pursue it. You should be able to remember when people were able to generate reads with a vote, but in vote simulation it's worse than ccing a PR as blue.
Because you don't play anything but fancy pants and you rarely actually get to see bw and splits occur naturally.
However you're a player content to self vote the moment day starts because it's never occurred to you to put effort into winning games of your own accord when you're clear.

How exactly do you think you're going to get a single new player, let alone people who want to improve if they get reported for every mistake? Especially when 99% of the time you learn more from a loss than a win, I'm honestly bamboozled by this thread.
