The average for my line of work is £19-24k. It means if land a £20k job I would need to hope/try not to get past the cap because suddenly it will be like I'm earning £2k less and utterly pointless. I won't be earning much more for a very long time so by being on the line I am directly affected.
the raised tuition fees has a better outcome long term than when they were lower iirc (you're very unlikely to pay the full amount, ever. unless you earn big bucks and when you're earning big bucks, who cares?)

Saddest part about watching the election from across the pond was that your Tories are probably to the left of our Democrats.
If it wasn't painfully obvious by now I did not in fact vote UKIP I wasted my vote on green when I should have been voting Lib Dem. But at the time voting the party that screwed me over a few years back to stop a horrible party getting into power didn't cross my mind. lol
What I don't support is the death of our health care, the potential of student finance rising yet again and or the debts being sold to private companies. Whilst we have a EU referendum in the nearby future and more tax cuts for the rich. :) Clearly you do as you negged the post.
By my count, Tories are still 8 seats short, and there's enough left that Labour could form a minority government with tenuous support from minor parties and SNP.
Congratulations to the Conservatives! Fiscal responsibility, strong national defense, and tell those damn immigrants to be patriotic and improve their own country.
