It's sad to have to say this, but even though we lost a great player recently, the whole EM community is not going to change who they are because he has left us. We may preach "Let's change the community", but let's just put it out here right now that we are not going to change. Some of us will still be rude, whether it's in game or out of game, some of us will be welcoming, and some of us will not. It's going to happen. We're scum people okay? No one is good and no one is bad. (Except for banned users. They're bad.) We all are just stuck. That just really makes sense in this situation. We are stuck in a phase that is so hard to grow out of and change. But if people think it is worth a shot to try, then go right ahead.
Best of luck to all of you who are going to try to "change their ways.", I will be cheering you on.
EDIT:
to make a long story short, I am not blaming the EM community for Josh's death because it was not our fault. He was our friend and he taught us many things. I'm just saying that in order to change a community, we need to change ourselves first. Nothingg is going to change if we don't try ourselves.

hey man i think itg is great, and i'm sure he's dealing with some , but you gotta know that reciprocating bullying is never the answer.
i didnt even know this was itg's thread, but not gonna lie, ive seen him absolutely tear people apart over the most minor things in-game.
it's not the only way to play, and all you gotta do is look inside yourself and say, "do i really want to be like them?"
no, the answer is no. always be yourself, and always be true to that person you aspire to be (the person you love within you)
once again, i love you itg, you're really fun to play with, but this isn't an issue all of EM has. it's one you specifically have because you also attract that negativity by reciprocating it. learn to tune out the bs and attract the good, or maybe take the game with a grain of salt like i do, because i assure you the real world has far worse bullies than people on the internet (and you're not going to change people online, esp. on EM)

i dunno. maybe we shouldn't all just be so concerned with shifting blame is all.

last thing before goodbyes that garyoak wrote to me read: "I guess sometimes it's better to create than destroy."

i tell you, whenever i can use a person's death to grandstand and assert my moral superiority, you better believe i'm gonna do it

itg's obviously feeling the abuse he gets around here too btw. dunno if it's the best idea that u should all just jump down his back over it again
you realize itg is the prime proponent of being virulently terrible to people because "no one on the internet matters"
ya maybe he's just amouring himself dude. i mean i'm just saying. there's actually a really interesting post in arcbell's game thread where itg sets himself to spinning in a circle with his morning star, trying to ward off attacks ... but coming from all sides seems the most significant bit. maybe that's all just pure imagination tho. i mean not like psychology basically proves one's imagination always relates to real life or anything
