This is a tentative idea that I do not expect to be implemented any time in the near future; however, I believe it is worth acknowledging the possibility of a system that resets the total points a player has in order to give others a chance to achieve the "highest total score," which is an accolade largely monopolized (of course due to their skill and aptitude), by SuperNova, EvilPyro, and MafiaGod.
This is not to undermine the extremely significant time, effort, and ability put into the game by these players, but rather to offer an alternative award. What I am proposing is to allow a point reset at a certain point cap, and awarding the player a "prestige" of sorts. Yes, the idea was born from the popular American franchise "Call of Duty." The awarded prestige would count as a player decoration, similar to a trophy.
Again this is a very hesitant idea, and one that I'm not entirely sure would be efficient. I am more curious about the community's opinion on the matter.
Can someone explain why it matters that you have more "points"? Do these points even do anything? Does the points leaderboard mean anything other than "you play a lot of EM?"

Condescending? um. all i did was vote no on a poll and i get called out on stupid stuff because people always wanna try and act cool on the forums. I didnt even voice a real comment on the matter. you just feel the need to point out unnecessary crap. ya i cheated on a few reverse mafia games over a year ago with a friend. 90 % of my points are legit although i dont really care about them. i did most of the games cause it use to be fun to play ranked with friends, even if it was considered pointfarming. sorry that you take epicmafia.com so seriously. to the point u feel its necessary to call me out and be a douchebag for what reason?
nobody's worried about what you spend your money on, you just have no reason to be condescending after cheating and blowing your money to farm points and trophies.

I skimmed through it, I think he wants to reset every ones points so new losers get the chance to be on the hall of fame since it's almost impossible to pass people like SuperNova who have 242,968 points.

i didn't read the thread at hand, but allowing someone to have the choice to reset their points at a certain level would be beneficial for multiple reaons
it's sooooo freakin' adorbs that some nameless faceless idiot who i don't care about and don't know made fun of me for cheating at mafia and then wasting time farming points and trophies in custom lobbies that i paid real life money for :****** (kissy face)
