Hey guys. I've been accepted to some colleges, so I'm moving to the states this summer from Germany. I haven't lived in the states for 5 years, and when I was I was only 13 lol. So, um, I've kind of forgotten what it's like there. Can you guys give me some tips/advice on living in America? Like cultural stuff and lifestyle and things like that?

Americans must make hard life-decisions everyday. Such pain.
I have actually never had Chipotle, but I absolutely love Qdoba and go there as much as I can afford, so idk.
it's usually the other way around. most people live fro chipotle and then you go try qdoba and you either still like chipotle better or turn into a hipster within the 3% who swears its better than chipotle
My friends walked to Chipotle once from class but it was sooo far away and it'd take too long (I had some school I needed to get done) so I didn't go. They ended up settling for McDonald's halfway anyways so I was glad I didn't go.
Another time I was at the Chipotle in the mall w/ friends but I didn't have anything because I didn't want to pay for it. :P It looked good at least. They were huge o.o I always get the kids meal @Qdoba.

Do you know enough German to be able to sit through a lecture and understand what the professor's going on about? I've done a passive bit of searching myself, and it seems like they don't really do the whole "Yeah it's cool if you don't know our language. You can just take courses in a program designated for native English/whatever else speakers." thing.
Yes, but the problem is, I'm not German. I'd have to pay international fees to attend a German University. Why do that when U.S. schools are better quality anyway and I can pay less to attend them?
Plus German Universities are significantly harder to be admitted to because they tend to be less expensive then other universities, and thus competition is tough.

If you want a gambling problem come to Oklahoma, we have the most casinos in any state in the U.S... Like more than Las Vegas lol. But otherwise, stay away, this place is boring
I like Oklahoma! Although you do have way too many casinos. Tulsa man. I love taco bueno though! And I think you have pretty landscapes.

I haven't decided yet, but my options are Portland OR, or Bellingham WA
