These kids have been yakking and killing the same guy to unrank the game D1 which is obviously against the rules otherwise everyone would do it every game and there'd never be a game going on in that setup.
I think it should be considered gamethrowing rather than trolling because by yak-killing they are putting themselves into autoloss which is playing against their win condition.
do you think if i follow him around and give him lots of praise he'll notice me? i have sent additional PMs of reports I've done with short essays outlining my thought process on common GRS, ISP and GT violations.
Just don't allow yakuza in comp and then this won't happen.
Don't allow gun setups that way people don't shoot so freely
Don't allow setups with verifiable clears so that people don't just sheep them
Don't allow setups with meteor so that people don't draw the game
Don't allow...
No, stop. Just because there's situations you don't like doesn't mean it's okay to ban a whole role
all those situations are fine because they don't unrank games and allow people to re-roll. Yakuza changes your win condition in the middle of a game and enables people to throw against people in ways that wouldn't be traditionally considering throwing within the scope of the rules, like yakking someone who is running when you're in autoloss or yakking them so the win less points, etc.
Pranay makes a good point - it does appeal to different skill sets, but they're not really well suited for the way the competition is formated. I personally really enjoy DLYV and think it's a fun time, but it really doesn't belong in competition. If the competition was organized a bit differently, then I could see it working.
I made an announcement on DYK but it got deleted with the old forums, rip.
At allowing people to reroll:
Doing this intentionally is against the rules, so it is already taken care of
At changing people's alignments/throwing:
This setup is must act, is it not? Therefore everything you suggest is irrelevant because it can't happen. Wouldn't warrant a ban on yakuza anyway
mod me, and i'll bring about the changes that the site needs. It will be through my sole effort that the site will rise to the glory it once had. it's been going downhill for so long, my modship will change it. i'm certain of it.

this is gt. Also i would not run on this setup as it is very uncertain. but that does not mean that it does not require scumhunting. It is a fine setup for people to make use of their weird skills. Every setup appeals to certain kind of skills.
DYK is not something new, and it's an abuse of the N1 unrank mechanic. It's already been outlawed before. There was no reason to decomp a setup for something that was already known when the setup was comped.
If the issue is as big as it seems, mods need to make an announcement and put the setup back. As for the people that already abused it and didn't get any violations, mods can pick whether they be lenient with them and count all the games as one violation/note (since they didn't know otherwise) or just outright give them the appropriate amount of vios. Post announcement, they handle things as normal
