It depends on the assignment. People just want to seem intelligent on epicmafia.com
But what about people who have been to 3 schools and studied for 12 years, they sure must be right due to their expertise in this matter, no?
3 Private Schools. Those take brains (see: Parent's Cash Flow) to get into.

I mean, a majority of the writing/literature classes I've taken through my high school career have been outside of home. In this instance, both my university professor who had been teaching English for like 30+ years and my other literature teacher both said that "I" was okay to use in the right context.
In fact, that literature teacher actually approached me after class once to congratulate me on how well my paper was written, a paper that used "I" quite frequently! Seeing the disagreement on this matter is pretty confusing to me, tbh.
Don't listen to them, sometimes using I is okay.
Sometimes. Specifically if you're going in to detail about how you personally conducted your research in a scientific paper or something.

Matt: your teaching is the odd thing out and I'd recommend the other (correct) way in all future writings after you finish with your weird teachers
Mikalis would totally admit his royal highness was wrong in most cases but since you guys are contradicting what his excellency's been taught by my hero's actual teachers, his royal highness is lost. Mikalis guesses it depends on the teacher, tbh.
