Also, I don't think we'll have FPTP for more than another 10-20 years, because the top two are getting too few votes for it to be justified anymore. AV was a horrible bodge of an idea and the Lib Dems were idiotic for suggesting it instead of just full on PR a la STV.
Remember that YouGov or something poll calling a 55% Yes vote and causing everyone to go crazy

Also, it could be worse. Because of the consitituency I live in being a straight fight between the Lib Dems and the Conservatives, I essentially have to vote Lib Dem to keep the Tories out, and then go outside and vomit afterwards in disgust with myself.

The SNP have surged so much since the "No" vote it's ridiculous. They now have more members, in Scotland alone, than the Lib Dems do in the entire country.
They'll take about 35-40 of the Scottish MP's. Labour will only get about 15.
