This was the year we got swept by the Wizards lmao
This place is cool because I can see a time machine of what my posting was like, all the way back from when I was a 15 year old in some surviving areas of the site. Can remember what I felt like while posting it when I reread the posts too
Not a terrible prediction but I dont even know what to think of the East right now. It's terrible. Personally though, I have no teams close to me and I really wish there was an Nba team here.
Actually the east isn't all that bad. Yes many would argue that most teams from the west including some non playoff teams would thrive in the east. The west is just deeper with many talented teams fighting for limited playoff spots. On the other hand, the top teams in the east have fared pretty well against the top teams in the west. For the rest of the conference, teams are just starting to acquire talent and undergo the rebuilding process. It will take time before the two conferences become more balanced again.

Well I'm from Cleveland, will add some Cavalier knowledge here. The season was average at best, defense as usual needs to be improved a ton. Hopefully the trades and acquiring Timofey, JR, and Iman helps us out. Honestly for being a head case I've loved what JR has brought so far, and is an upgrade from Dion Waiters, both from offensive stand point, plus his height and length helps out on defense. Timofey is a hustler down low which is what we lost when Varejao got hurt. Hopefully once we get Lebron and Marion back we'll be able to improve and find our offensive and defensive style because neither of them have clicked this season. Not really confident on them winning the title this year.
Hey dude I am about 30 minutes from Cleveland, you still around?
i respect the raptors organization and i believe that they have built a great team that can go deep into the playoffs. my only concern is consistency from their bench and also a lack of a post threat on offense.
i don't know if the raptors have the depth in go deep into the playoffs. their bench would have to be consistent enough through pretty much every playoff game. raptors would benefit if someone like ross, patterson or johnson.
The Raptors' bench can be great and I think they'll be in prime shape come playoff time barring any unforseen circumstances such as injuries, and when they're all healthy and on their game they are damn near unstoppable.
And we have the best fans in the league. So much so that our players legitimately FEED OFF OF OUR FANS' ENERGY AT GAMES. I've seen it first hand, I've been to multiple games this season already. You can tell they're legit about it if you watch the Open Gym series. This team is something special and I am so glad that it happened in Toronto. They want to win.

It's probably too late for Cleveland to fix their team and win the championship now, but the might make a nice run. NBA Finals will definitely feature the Bulls if Cleveland doesn't pick up it's offense, but I do think the West will prevail. Warriors have looked unbeatable at home, I think they will beat the Bulls in 6 for their 4th NBA Championship. Though, I guess anyone could come out of the West. Mavs, Rockets, Grizz, Blazers also have strong cases to make.
For Cleveland, you can see that all the talent adds up but they need to find chemistry between each other. What I think they need to do is to incorporate more of a ball-moving offense and have them take advantage of their speed and athleticism on offense. A lot of times I see their guards settling for jump shots early on in the shot clock. Driving to the basket will be an important aspect in their efficiency on offense. A much improved offense might be the only way they can offset their undersized defense.
