Quite. But principles are important to maintain otherwise standards decline.

For instance, the principle of having to do a minimum amount of reports per week (on average) was discarded, and look at the results.

i never expected a 6-month do-over. i didn't expect bronto to demod laurie either. jericho lied about not cheating to me, vancy, retti, jasper, and everyone else he talked to before he was modded, and he should have been demodded for the lying + the evidence showing up after he was modded

well from jasper's farewell message, i understood that he stepped down

Calvin told me he was going to quit before Jasper got back, so who knows what would've happened if he didn't do it. The point is that that is why most people were angry, compared to the fact he cheated in some minor games over a year ago nobody cared about.

to verify: i don't condone modding cheaters but if it was done by a previous admin you seriously can't expect a 6 month do-over by a new admin when the moderator in question has done nothing wrong over their entire period
