if an alt is GTing, that means they are intentionally ruining the game of other players (sometimes runners) and should be outed immediately. i recommend making a thread in main forums for this.
if you disagree with this idea, you are wrong.

<----------biggest GT alt
Don't I know it

GTing is more palatable and obvious because it requires intent, as opposed to something like ISP, which can be done unintentionally.
It'd be good if they couldn't mess up this simple concept but they can and probably would

I say it should only be outed if A) There are is more than one GT violation in a short amount of time and B) It's a well known player that you can tell is purposely throwing.
The rest can be a mistake, as Kyle said, or just a newer user who had the rest of his accounts outed because he game threw one time.

good thing i made this thread and you didn't, otherwise we'd have an identity crisis

i don't have any alts at the current moment either and i still say this is a bad idea.

i for one miss the days in laexio's adminship where alts that got too big for their secretive britches got swiftly decimated by a mod outing it.

well, as someone without an alt and doesn't GT on accounts, this worst-case scenario that you're presenting me is pretty low-stakes, at least on my end.
deleteddeletedover 11 years ago
we have a lot of people shouldn't be modding who are.
deleteddeletedover 11 years ago
witht he 1.5k point requirement, secret alts are a thing o the past. alts should be hidden only if they abide by the rules. and if we have mods making consistently incorrect judgments on GT reports, they should not be modding.
deleteddeletedover 11 years ago
a.) this will lead to alts be outted when mods give someone an incorrect violation and b.) this will just set a slippery slope for mods outting alts without a justifiable cause.
