Just sell the ability to remove censors globally on the site.
I, in addition to many other players, will pay $50-100 dollars for this feature.
when I say features, I just mean swearing- excessive harassment and all that stuff I guess will still apply.
but most of those violations come from within games anyways- where players can swear anyways. I think this is a good way for lucid to monetize EM and finally grow a community with a backbone.

Makes sense, there's conflicting rules surrounding it (or at least from what I've heard). Hopefully something can be done since most people just go out of their way to circumvent the filter.

Google is a giant hypocrite, because you can find swear words on google images without even trying
I don't know for sure, but the reason google has those rules is because it's a 13+ website. Google doesn't care if there's swearing as long as the site makes sure it doesn't fall on children ears.. I think?
Would that circumvent Google's rules surrounding it? If so that's not a bad idea at all. However, considering lucid made a buyable "kill all ads" option, I don't know if he'd go for this.

Lucid could have an option in the settings menu to turn on/off filter. It can default to on, and if you turn it off confirmation box: "BY CLICKING THIS BUTTON YOU CONFIRM YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 16" or whatever.
if lucid made it so that you had to be logged in to view the forums, it'd mean we could swear again. because they're public, they show up on Google searches.
Although I thought the adsense rule was that nothing can be displayed anywhere where ads are displayed too, but I'm not expert on this stuff. I'm just an ordinary man.
