The first time he was a mod, way back when in the he was pretty much my go-to example of everything wrong with the mod team. I felt like he would respond to reasonable critiscisms and inquiries by resorting to to ad hominem and a lol2bad4u attitude without so much as taking the time to understand properly the topic of discussion.
I didn't like him very much, and I was rather miffed when he was remodded.
Then something odd started happening: I found myself agreeing with Rutab's posts from time to time.. and even when I didn't, they still seemed like good, thoughtful posts. I started noticing that his presence on the forums, particularly as it pertains to sensitive issues had become the calm and respectful voice of reason I always wanted to expect from the mod team. On top of that, it may just be that I've been on this site for too long but it also seems like he's more funny now.
I just thought I'd share this anecdote as a reminder that people can grow and change for the better, and that every now and then we should give them the opportunity that I myself probably never would have given Rutab.

I'll be back. My chicken nuggets are done.
I find the idea of the latest 'argument' and me going to eat chicken nuggets ironically funny tbh.
I think just about everyone who is involved in this latest /drama/ should not be judged for this one issue. Emotions were high (for some people) and others took this the wrong way and went about it the wrong way. I say after this mess clears up we all sit down and watch a really funny show together, like The Office featuring Steve Carell.
As far as likability goes, to be honest I haven't really had the slightest bit on the site in the past 5 years except perhaps when I was modding as a favor to Nikos.
As much as I want to rail on rutab pretty sure it's time for me to go to the hospital sorry rutab

I mean, at the end of the day though, whether it's arguing for the sake of arguing (Which is to be honest something I never do in person), or having fun playing your regular old mafia games, I can honestly log off every single day thinking "I had fun today on epicmafia.com", and that's something a lot of comp players/posters can't say.

Not really; usually the common internet user acts nothing like they do in real life compared to behind the monitor. I am a very cocky and assertive person on here, yet in real life I am a very humble person who tends to be an introvert most of the time.

I mean, generally people's epicmafia.com personality is a poor reflection of their actual (Though Phil's is tbh great in both)
But yeah, when I get bored on break I decide to argue with people on epicmafia.com. I never cared about the violation whatsoever.
