I'm sorry, and I'm a bit new here. But I really like playing this game.
I hate lying to others so I developed this honesty policy in which if I ever lie I will delete my profile.
Is this like reportable or something? I'm so confused I just want to trust people that I don't know, but this isn't like anything personal. The thing on the EM rules says it's reportable but I'm not posting for some wierd meta thing, I just want to be trusted occasionally in this harsh game of conniving evil and scum.
The thing is, no one else is gonna wanna play with you if you start outing them as your partner.
When I first joined EM, I tried a similar approach, and I refused to cc as mafia. That lasted about a week until I realised you sorta have to make up claims if you want to play properly.
It's called "honest meta" and yes it's against the rules. Reason being you're not playing to the win condition of your team when you're mafia if you're unwilling to break your reputation to gain a distinct advantage for your team.
love is the most commonly accepted form of cheating on epicmafia. it is impossible to measure, near improbable to determine the underlying cause of, and largely invisible if acted upon accordingly.
love is the easiest way to trophy, although i've heard being a domineering douchewhistle is also a solid method.
oh, and skyping. never forget skyping.
all these forms of cheating and more are strongly endorsed by the epicmafia community.
here's another one: upvote posts on a page in order to coordinate by signals with a player. or, just write up a strategy for an unknown setup and confer through that, as you can do it in the middle of a game and delete it to conceal all evidence.
all these secrets and more, free of charge, from i, orly the great.
Don't play with friends or loved ones if you feel this strongly about it. Sometimes, you want to play with them...in which case, put your big girl/boy pants on and just lie up a storm. :v

Honest Alts like what you describe are a violation of the OGI rule. One way to get around this would be to make 6 or 7 other accounts and then play in games on all of them at once. That way, nobody will ask you questions that you feel uncomfortable lying about. It's also definitely not against the *OGI* rule.
if you have an honesty policy where you only do "x" as town, and never do so as mafia, stick to it very closely, and it becomes well known amongst players - then it could be a problem and you could get OGI for it.
The best thing to do is try to towntell through your actions and reads rather than saying "I'm town, look at me do x, I never do this as mafia".
Well in a way I take this as not playing toward your win condition at all times, which means it can be interpreted as game throwing. This game revolves around lying and mental manipulation so you might as well stop playing if you want everything to be cheerful and honest all of the time.
I'm really not trolling OMG. I'm so sorry I just have no idea and wanted to ask no matter how stupid I sound because i don't want to make people upset doing this.
