I remember your name, I'm pretty sure I did something to make you upset awhile ago, but I don't remember what it was. It is obvious that you are still butthurt about it, though, as you have appeared out of nowhere everytime I post in the forums to talk crap. I thought the fact that maybe I never responded to you would make you understand that you are a fly on the on the edge of the windshield of my life. I don't remember what I did that made you so mad, so you should probably let it go.

But to your quote, though, no I'm not saying it's all luck. I simply acknowledged a valid point that another person has made. I know that seems like a foreign concept to you, but it happens.

lmfao.

trophying isn't all luck. if you're a good player you'll eventually win a trophy. some people average 66% wins over 10,000 points, you should be able to average that over 2000 if you're any good

I wish I could claim that by now. I screw up at the end of rounds though if I am running.

Luck + mechanics play a huge role in winning the trophy

Really the main thing that you need to be good at (I think) isn't even scumhunting or mafia play; it's the ability to know how to manipulate the players who have no idea what they're doing
deletedalmost 10 years
trophying used to be about dodging really bad players but if you want to do that you're essentially dedicated an hour minimum per heart.

justrec is probably SGR trolling on another account since he basically just busted out an extended "umad?"

trophies are a decent measure of skill but they aren't that important. if you're consistently able to win trophies, that means you're consistently winning 2/3s of your games, which means you're pretty decent.

i sincerely think trophies mean nothing now anyway and are basically only there to serve inflated egos, but justrec getting so worked up over it is pretty funny.

running for a trophy is at least 75% luck anyways and anyone who denies it is wrong

might be overestimating it but it's certainly an enormous part

i guess that's why only good players win in dawn start setups, like myself.

Whoever wins trophies when they have their friends playing most games with them. Go do the research if you're so curious.

no i want you to tell me who you think are "good" players who benefit from cheating/excessive friend bias

That is what the game of mafia is, isn't it?

Valid point considering you aren't the only one in a mafia game.

Pretty sure anyone with a brain would be able to deduce that one win away from a trophy with 10 decayed hearts would be basically a guaranteed trophy if I had played those hearts.

but you didn't win a trophy, so...........

Point: It's not hard to win a trophy
Outcome: justrec fails to win a trophy
