Behavior - I have that covered, I don't throw, GRS, copy mechanics or any of that stuff, and I don't insult or harass people etc.
I may need to work on the "ability to moderate" part, but I've been sort of teaching myself the difference between vio-worthy instances of rule breaches and minor ones that would be a no vio or just a note, I do this by reading all the recent reports and I've been doing this for around 3-4 weeks.
Chitose, I wouldn't hold your breathe honestly, it probably wont happen.

It may, but keep in mind that this is a normal thing between a lot of users who send in their applications. We do like seeing those things around the website, but behavior and the ability to moderate are also included in the requirements. Please do help other users and such even if you do not become a mod; that is something we need more of.
Would it increase my chances if I started helping people a lot, help new players get a grasp of the rules, became a mentor etc?

We do not mod people based on being new or old (disregarding if they are really, really new). If you're speaking about Tashie, she was a great choice and we are happy to have had her join. She is doing a great job. She has committed a lot to the community in her short time on EpicMafia and we thought she would do a great job. She has yet to prove us wrong.

The requirements are that we find you capable of being a mod at a time we are looking for more mods. There are a lot of applications in our thread in the mod forums and a lot of them are really good. We all take the time to discuss possible candidates through all of the applications in this thread. In the end, we have one or two mods that we would like to join the team. As for the others, they stay in the thread so we can see them later for if we need more. If you don't get into the team at this point in time, it's not that we don't want or need you, it's that we thought someone else was more capable. Your application will stay in review just in case we need you.

Well considering more and more newer people are being modded, I'd say your chances are pretty high.
you should be given a shot as well as rada and maybe the OP. down with the same mods over and over.

LOL I sent mine in a year ago. They never reply back to it. You just sit and wait hopelessly as other people get modded and you watch the site potentially fall apart.
