My nation stands for peace and freedom. Seeing and hearing gunshots in the parliament building (just steps away from the room which Stephen Harper was in) in the video released today really made me sad. I visited those buildings as a child and recognized that this was where decisions were made--the ones that made my country as great as it is today. And for it to be attacked by a gunman--I could barely watch.
