How bout them Royals? That was probably the 2nd greatest baseball playoff game I've ever watched right after the cardinals miracle win a couple of years ago. Any thoughts about the game?
I am bitter but at least I admit it!! (I'd still say 2011 Cardinals was more entertaining bc that's what I've heard from nonCards fans but yeah)
P.S. Guess what exWS champs team isn't in the playoffs this year? (Not that I care that much cuz I'd rather have a WS win and take this year off than go to the playoffs twice without a win :/ )
Yea he and the black pitcher, don't remember his name, both looked pretty devastated. I found myself rooting for the A's at the beginning but as the game progressed I wanted the Royals to win. This A's team reminds me of the collapse the Rangers had a couple years back
It was sooo awesome! I think the Cardinals vs. Phillies was better than this too, just cuz I love pitcher's duels, but honestly--this one was so fun. I was rooting for the Royals cuz KC all the way, but I felt so bad for the A's after.
I can't believe how fast this team is...this is like 80's baseball or something. Oakland didn't know what to do.
I think from a non-cardinals fan, this game was much better in terms of entertainment value. I will say that the Nationalss vs Cardinals series in (2012?) was pretty amazing, but I'd still take this game over it
The Nationals Cardinals was just so amazing that it wasn't amazing because the Nats gave it away.
Pitcher's duels aren't exciting, but they are freaking intense. I was about to die after Phils/Cards.
I liked this game--it was good, though there was a lot of cockiness and I didn't like when (shields? fields?) came in and looked like he'd faced death. I feel like he brought the team down a lot. I hate when people do that. Luckily they still won though.
