How bout them Royals? That was probably the 2nd greatest baseball playoff game I've ever watched right after the cardinals miracle win a couple of years ago. Any thoughts about the game?
Hudson and Peavy get pulled in the 2nd after allowing 2 runs back to back games... does Bochy know something i dont? I guess game 7 just use all your bullpen yolo it. Idk though they didn't even put in Baumgarner for a long reliever spot
It isn't though, cuz we've not made it to the playoffs before and it doesn't hurt this bad. I can only hope hardcore Rangers fans all went to the psychiatrist after 2011 cuz I really don't know how they dealt with it!!! ;~;
From someone who hasn't seen their team make the playoffs in 8 years(twice having been eliminated by 1 game), it's much better to lose in the playoffs than not get there
it's entirely possible wainwright would have gotten tired and done even worse than giving up 1 run, not replacing his starter in the 8th is why bob melvin and the A's lost the wild card game. normally matheny is way too slow to take his starters out
neshek had a 1.87 ERA this season and only gave up 4 home runs all year, using him there was totally sensible
he'd have had to face the top of the order and they might still have concerns about his health, putting neshek in there makes sense because he's really good, it just didn't work this time
