They can adapt to situations and they know the inside of the game.

they can see what is not obvious

they can manipulate situations

they can get into the nerves of people when required and they can look at the game from all angles required

most of these players falter a lot many times and do stupid things, but they still possess the skills to get my respect

very soon i will profile each one of the above

others are mediocre

any other player who has won has either won by breaking rules or have gotten lucky or have had friends help them

He plays from time to time, and every time I see him play he does brilliantly as town or mafia for the reasons I mentioned to Connor. His reputation as the best player of all time is certainly earned, even if I wasn't around for his glory days.

systemoverload can fall into situations where he is helpless and he has no way out. legendary knows what to do in those situations and i have seen him get out of it. the real test of skill is when everything is against you. not when everybody is just your friend.

Sure, his ability to use logic to read the situation and argue said reads in a compelling manner is completely unmatched. As mafia he uses the authority he develops with strong town play to manipulate the town into sheeping him, or assuming his reasons are legitimate.

most of you guys just have maxwell as one person you always want to praise because you dont have anybody else to do so. because they play with you and you dont feel good praising anybody who plays with you.

this is not the list of good players. this is the list of players with a particular kind of skill set. a reason which earns them my respect. and play style has nothing to do with it.
