Right now the mod team is discussing spamming as a vio and we're considering condensing it into one vio. This means that spamming in unranked games will now be a community vio and thus against the rules, contrary to how it is currently moderated. It would also be moderated in sandbox, which it currently isn't.
Right now, we just want to get a consensus of how the site feels about this. Do you think spamming should be moderated in unranked + sandbox?

The goal is to make it so that sandbox doesn't get ruined by people who have come in and just tried to spam and ruin games for people. Yes, you can (and should) kick, but it's lame to put it on the user when it's a very easy thing to moderate and punish.
i agree with this so much. spamming is literally detrimental to the entire game and as someone who has a short fuse it gets me irritated fairly quickly. you should however very clearly dictate what is spamming and what isn't so that you wouldn't have an influx of reports.
Support. Vote-spamming is (to a certain extent) OK if you're silenced - "vote me twice if you have a guilty report", etc - but other than that, there's little reason to spam other than to annoy people.
Isn't that why the spam timeout in place? (In game) And even in the sandbox forums, if people do spam in the forum, it's not the end of the world, no one posts goodness in there.
However, I support Rutab that in unranked Main lobby games, it should be moderated in both game and the forum, but minor penalty in the main lobby forum.
Yes, usually. Maybe exceptions for when you are pinging people or something like that, but generic spam should be modded imo.

It depends. I don't really care when people manually spam the vote log or generally spam something in the chatbox but some people here use scripts to spam and that's what gets on everyone's nerves. However I've seen a lot of spam script reports get nv'd which I think is unfair because it's completely obvious that there's a script there and the mods pass it over because it's not a community vio.

I posted this in the Main forum but I want people to see this in Sanxbox too:
I believe that spamming should NOT be moderated in Sandbox but in unranked Main lobby games they should
