it's hard to tell, objectively, whether life is beautiful or disgusting. on one hand you have the beauty of nature -- green grass, trees, ravines, fluffy animals. on the other hand you have killing and diseases and nightmare fuel at the bottom of the ocean. the wonderfulness of life is a fencesitter; it's neither especially positive nor especially negative.
from my perspective, all bad things out of mind, i think life is amazing. not just life in the biological sense, but in the natural and intelligible sense. the universe is unreal and exciting and so is knowledge, which we collectively will never have the slightest hold on in its entirety. life has the potential to be pleasurable beyond comprehension, and that potential itself is incomprehensible.
In the interest of site appropriateness I'll skip a few dares and use this one instead: I was dared to eat two Trinidad Scorpion Pepper's with a few of my fraternity brothers.
