Happiness is feeling good about your place in the world. That's a very complicated thing and not all beholden to actual beauty, that's all I was saying. Then you cried at me because I make you feel small.

I dunno, Floor. The way I imagine it, waking up tomorrow morning with a different nose is gonna f*ck you up. No matter how perfect a nose it might be in other people's eyes, no matter how Hollywood or whatever dumb sh*t, you're just not going to see it most probably. I'd say simple ideas might work, like my mate with his big jaw who looks the exact same after his surgery... but a new nose is crazy sh*t and isn't going to work. It's just going to look strange to you and you're going to keep making changes.

it's really stupid. sometimes happiness is doing constructive stuff that gets you ahead in live, sometimes happiness is playing epicmafia and trying to suck your own weiner

I feel like this is a common misconception, that the few mishaps make a lot more noise and create a lot more negativity than the majority of successful operations that you don't hear.

And even if you do, you'll probably f*ck it up with another surgeon because it's harder to find yourself beautiful than anyone else. There is no objective when it comes to the individual's perceptions of themself, only anxiety.

I mean, you can probably touch on some valued thing...you might have a bigass jaw that could be fixed or something, one of my mates did that because we used mock him for it all his life, and to be honest, he looks just the same, still an ugly f*ck lol...but he's happier about it these days, just because he doesn't have a big jaw anymore....I mean, how f*cking stupid is happiness sometimes, right? And then it's all an idea, and your face is pretty much just a lump of flesh only for what other people think of it. You might get some Michelangelo of a plastic surgeon, though, sure. But probably not and the surgery will be meaningless.

Reconstructive plastic surgery is alright, and healthy, but any other type is a rabbit hole to go down, probably ending with you looking like some I dunno what, an alien.
The problem is, beauty isn't something that just happens overnight, it's something that takes years in the making, it's a whole bunch of **chemicals**, having some reaction or whatever, on some recognition of something or whatever (forgive the scientific jargon). And in such, then, there's no way you're ever really going to be satisfied with whatever alteration you make, not unless you've been looking at Angelina Jolie all your life, and love her, and come out looking just like her.
I mean I'm not saying everyone is perfect in their own way or whatever. I like beautiful girls. I got a certain taste, symmetry all that, Hollywood, or whatever....I'll probably ignore you from the off if you're not to that taste, I know, I know, I'm a b-stard. But it's just for you. It's not going to work. Beauty is a mental game we're all playing, very much revolving around value. The best way to feel beautiful is to be loved. I mean, I'd say there are some amount of 10/10 beautiful girls come out of highschool feeling like they're ugly just for that highschool set a win that wasn't them back when maybe they weren't so pretty. But it's nonsense. I'd say just learn to see yourself as beautiful, and odds are someone else will see you as such too. And what else do you need?
I think it is okay, to an extent. People should be allowed to alter their bodies if they want to.
But of course there is always the other side, like if someone has body dysmorphic disorder, then in that case it's a different situation because if they decide to get plastic surgery, often that person will find they aren't satisfied with their surgery and continue to go through unnecessary procedures.
I feel like a lot of people who oppose plastic surgery have this idea that "everyone is perfect the way they are"(which is nice) but i think a better saying is "no one is perfect", so don't feel like you have to accept everything about your bodily image if you don't want to.

well in cases of like smth on the body that's a slight inconvenience or even more extreme disfiguration I don't blame people for using it or even on insecurities in face or other body parts it's almost always a personal and important choice to the individual
