well, asides from some nitpicks that I made along the way (the big one being why don't future tokyo police have cameras on themselves at all times? this would make the brain procedure akane undertook completely pointless!), I liked it a lot. the philosophical undertones of old existential arguments like "what is free choice?" and "what is the soul?" really goes to nail the overall themes of the show home. asides from that, its avoidance of, at least, a cliche with the character of akane, was very appreciated. I also liked how it avoided developing romantic subplots and instead, just focused on what mattered, most of the time (the only thing episode I felt was out of place was the episode that explained yayoi's backstory). so yeah, good animes.

skeleton twins, which is a drama/comedy (do they have a name for that, IDK) about two twins who happen to survive a suicide attempt on the same day despite having been disconnected from each other for 10 years or so. I honestly liked it a lot, but that may just be a bias because I adored bill hader and kristen wig when they were on SNL (they are the main stars for the movie). There were a few moments where the cheese level turned to american but overall I still liked it.
