Dear Main Lobby,

In light of the recent changes to the lobby system and the influx of new players to competitive play, lucid has decided that we are no longer to hand out gamethrowing violations for hip fires. We will instead be giving out trolling violations for those who hip fire.

For those of you unfamiliar, hip firing is the act of shooting a gun in game without attempting to get reads (or ask for a claim, dependent on the situation) or simply immediately shooting at day start / shooting someone before they have opportunity to talk.

Please do not hip fire. Those who do hip fire with intent to throw the game will still receive GT violations, however the sole act of hip firing is now treated as trolling.
