this issue has already been resolved in the linked thread above - apparently the solution was to restart the computer :)

no it wasn't
but it doesn't matter now

Yeah, I don't think they have it anymore. The name color changes to red when you have a background so I'm guessing that's the new type of brighter text? Not sure.
