the reason i was given had nothing to do with the round system "disliking" ties. i was forced to play my hearts because it was deemed "unfair". why is genneh's gold "fair" if the player below let it happen?
fotl refused to play her hearts because she wanted lashka to win silver and there was no way she could pass steven without passing him too so she took fourth and nobody cared so why is this such a big deal to you
the same way i was when i wanted to tie rounds and rounds ago. i was told to play my hearts or lose a chance at any trophy. i could have tied and went for gold
why is keri's personal choice being validated when the choice to force a tie is not? the former benefits someone else, the latter benefits the user themselves
Because the round system dislikes ties and makes you resolve them. This is her personal choice. The round should've ended so we're leaving it as it would've been yesterday had we not had the little miscommunication about Anthony.
How could you force someone to play games? What if they had a heart attack, or their house got blown away in a tornado or a plague of locusts ate them?
The Round should be over, so it would be unfair for her to pass another competitor at this point. She had last night to do it, as that was when the Round was supposed to end. She didn't do it. She will be getting a Silver trophy.
Nope, she didn't play them before midnight last night so she's not allowed to play them now, because the Round was supposed to be over last night.
You can do whatever you want in your run as long as you don't throw for someone else (or get banned/suspended from the Round obviously). By opting out of playing her hearts, she did not in fact throw. She just chose not to play. You can't suspend somebody for choosing not to play mafia in this situation, as nobody can tie her.
The standings for the top three will stay as they are.
