Kino had a strong application, and after speaking with her, going through some reports and her opinions, learning her thought process, and talking to her about expectations, I thought she would be an excellent pick.

You don't need to be a comp player to know how to moderate reports. She knows community vios and has a good grasp on game-related ones too, and obviously we'll guide and train her too.

Modding sandbox players isn't bad, modding them solely because they are from sandbox (or giving them a plus) to achieve "diversity" is dumb, however. What lobby you are from shouldn't have an effect on your moderator application, your perceived ability to moderate should
