what is life? this is a question that always has disconcerted me and i realize now that life is pretty miserable. you're put on this earth, and chances are you're going to be put in an area crawling with diseases, war, genocide, crime and have no chance to better yourself. even if you do get put in a great place, chances are you'll just get used to what you already have and take it for granted. because of this, you can never really be happy because you'll always be wanting more.

Gonna be honest and say I'm pretty happy about being white.
I don't like to categorize myself like jock, nerd, prep, etc. None of those labels really fit me, but I guess you could think of me as sort of the class clown ,haha.
My friend gave me *** because the person I am is someone overly emotional and sensitive to positive and negative news so I try to explain to him how and why this is the reason I was shielding myself from the news. I figured if it was important to me socially I'd hear about it. Because ignorance is bliss, right? Wrong. I've learned that people who care are the ones that can or want to make a difference when something is wrong. The world might be disgusting at times and it is hard to see but if we don't see what is wrong, how do we know what is right? That we need to help?! I go to cbc every day at my desk and read the world news, most times - I cry. It's hard to go through those emotions but they are needed to make the world still be a caring place if we didn't care then we won't ever b able to fix anything. Those sad feelings only fuel me to want to be a better person, make people around me smile, try to bring the world to a happy place even if hard times are being had. Go to events, fight for cures, volunteer ur time, comment on things, be brave, stand up for the under dogs.. I feel like if you chose to look at the world with a bright pink light on things - then maybe ur brightness can make even the tiniest impact on someone else or something else.
I feel the same way about the news and it being depressing but if ur so disturbed dont just *** about life change what u can, make an impact on the world to be a better place if u think ur capable of doing so. Stand up for what you think is right and wrong use ur voice to make a difference. Dont just roll over as i said it is exactly wat u make it. If anything, the world we live in today should only be teaching us to be stronger & better people because we are the reason it is what it is.
life is what you make of it. kick back, crack open a couple of brewskis, and just kill it.

i'm not saying that i'm miserable, i'm pretty happy. but the world is miserable and i feel like watching the news shouldn't lead to depressing thoughts all of the time.

suicide is always pointless, because you're going to die eventually regardless.
