Umm Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a really good drug-addled cult movie. I'd suggest Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs too but you've probably seen them.

For something more like Trainspotting I'd suggest Snatch or Requiem for a Dream

snatch owns.
the ending sequence in requiem for a dream is probably my favorite 5-minute sequence in any film
